Welcome to Blank Slate Group. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (https://www.blankslategroup.co.uk) and the domestic and commercial cleaning services we provide. By booking a service with us or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

3. Booking and Services

  • Estimates and Quotations: Any price quoted is an estimate based on the information provided by you. We reserve the right to amend the quotation once our cleaners assess the property if the condition differs from the description provided.
  • Equipment and Supplies: Unless otherwise agreed, Blank Slate Group will provide all standard cleaning materials and equipment. If you require us to use your own specialist products, you must notify us in advance. We accept no liability for any damage caused by products supplied by you.
  • Working Environment: You must provide a safe working environment for our staff, including access to hot running water and electricity.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of bookings.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled cleaning time, or if our cleaners are unable to gain access to the property, a cancellation fee (up to 100% of the service cost) may apply.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • All payments must be made promptly upon completion of the service or as otherwise agreed in your invoice.
  • We accept payment via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other methods as specified on our invoices.
  • Late payments may incur additional administrative charges and interest in accordance with UK late payment legislation.

6. Access and Security

You must ensure our staff have unimpeded access to the property at the agreed time. If you provide us with keys, we will store them securely. In the unlikely event of a lost key, our liability is strictly limited to the cost of cutting a replacement key.

7. Liability and Complaints

  • Damage: While our cleaners take the utmost care, accidents can occasionally happen. Blank Slate Group holds public liability insurance. Any damage or breakage caused by our staff must be reported to us within 24 hours of the service completion.
  • Exclusions: We are not liable for damage to items that are highly fragile, improperly secured, or inherently faulty prior to our arrival. We also do not accept liability for cash or jewellery left unsecured.
  • Complaints: If you are dissatisfied with the standard of our service, you must contact us within 24 hours. We will arrange for a cleaner to return to re-clean the disputed areas free of charge. We do not offer refunds in lieu of a re-clean.

8. Non-Solicitation of Staff

By using our services, you agree not to directly or indirectly hire, solicit, or engage any of our current or former cleaners to work for you privately during the term of your agreement with us and for a period of six months following the termination of our services. A referral fee may be payable if this clause is breached.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Blank Slate Group and is protected by UK copyright laws. You may not reproduce or use this content without our express written permission.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts.
